Parents:

Breakfast and Tea - available for day pupils:

To help our busy parents the school day can potential run from 8am to 6.30pm.

Breakfast is served at 8am and day pupils may join our boarders for this, either on a regular basic or occasionally (provided that school is informed 24 hours beforehand). The cost for this is £4 per breakfast.

The end of the teaching day is at 4.15pm. However, supervised prep. is available from 4.30pm to 5.45pm Monday to Thursday. We take a register at prep. so please book beforehand, either by completing the After School Programme or by telephoning reception before 3.30pm.

Tea is served from 5.45pm to 6.15pm and day pupils may join boarders for this at a cost of £4 per meal. Tea for day pupils should be booked with the school 24 hours beforehand.

Understanding your child's ATLs:

The documents below explain the ATL (Attitude to Learning) system we use to record your child's approach to their studies. They give an indication of the types of attitude and behaviour they display in class and prep.

If you have a concern:

Please contact your child's Tutor in the first instance, if you have a concern. Tracy Knowles (Years 7 to 11), Mary Memarzia (Years 12 and 13), and Maggie Guy, Deputy Head and Head of Boarding will listen to concerns if the matter cannot be resolved at this stage.

Michael Goodwin, Head, is available for his 'Parents' Surgery' on Tuesday evenings in term time until 6pm. Please make an appointment via Lesley Woodward, his PA.

We would rather know about a concern before it becomes a problem.
