The Health Centre is open each day as follows:

8.30am to 5.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
8.30am to 1.00pm Monday and Friday

Pupils wishing to visit the health centre should always call at reception first to ensure that the nurse is available.

Counselling Service

The school has a qualified counsellor trained in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

Students can now access the counselling service by using the email address help@sibfordschool.co.uk and asking for an appointment. This new system offers students more privacy and it enables them to access the counselling service quickly and easily. The email address is used for managing appointment times only; no therapy takes place via email.

Our counsellor offers the service at a very competitive rate of £35 per session.

Before any counselling commences Christine will assess the student’s needs to make sure that counselling would be appropriate and a letter will be sent home to seek parental permission. Assessment sessions are charged at £15. Counselling fees are charged to the school bill, as an extra by the accounts department, in the normal way.
